Electrical Connectors

This may seem a bit basic, but I'm having a hell of a problem removing the connector from the wiper motor.

It seems to have a clip of some sort which I've tried pressing in and levering out, all with no effect.

Can someone please tell me the correct procedure for removing these connectors without destroying them?
