D4 Owners is this a standard feature

Not sure why you would want or need email whilst driving. I use rSAP and it cuts off the network connection to the phone, but as soon as I stop and turn off the ignition, the connection reverts to the phone and all my emails that have been waiting in the ether arrive at once. Using email or internet features on a phone whilst driving is dangerous.

However, I suppose if you spend most of your day parked on the NCP M25 then you can do a whole day's work on the way to and from the office...

Very much the latter for me. Stood in traffic is a non-favourite past time of mine. Plus, its useful to be online so at least you can hear the ping of an email coming in, or not

yes i dont check or do anything while driving, but the M1 can be as bigger car park as the m25 on occasion, and often il be on the way to hemel from leeds and get a meeting cancelled noftification. i really want to see those, specially if i havent got far in to the journey.

am i looking for any specific type of SIM im thinking of a system this old will i need to make sure it does 2G or 3G etc

I suspect its more the package that's a problem. You need lots of data and not much voice. Most sim only deals are the other way round I guess.

I've never used a sim in an Audi, just rSap so hopefully someone with some hands on experience will be along soon

Press fleet or built for an event of some sort and then pushed onto the press maybe?

Interesting picture from car magazine....... does yours have a "knocking" setting, I think mine is "pulse"..... suspect just a label rather than a different effect :/

best range for the engine is just above 2,000 revs,

though i only have one rain drenched drive in the 4.2, the fastest i got to was 80, at 1500 revs, how fast do you have to go to get to the quiet spot
