Audi A8 v8 sought

Evening all,
Im a newbie looking to pop his cherry here please!
Have my heart set on an A8 facelift (2000/2) , v8 lump with the sport / Recaro interior. LPG would be very welcome too. Looking to budget around the 3k mark but thats negotiable I guess.
Ok, in a perfect scenario the beige (Twist?) interior is most important, so am expecting a green / blue / burgundy paint scheme? Thats all fine and dandy with me!
As with everyone dipping their toes into this car, service history will be important. In essence, just looking for the best package that I can find for my hard earned spendies. Been severly bitten on a twin turbo Subaru Legacy 18 months ago that I lost £4k on in almost as many weeks when it went "pop!" big time. Willing to wait for the right car this time around and have it thoroughly inspected before purchase.
