I had my rear chrome strip off to replace some clips and it was surprisingly easy - just two bolts kind of in line with the number plate and the bumper slid right off.....
Also, they're easier to clean up when off the car and I found a claying followed by ag metal polish worked really well tidying them up...... |

Yeh, thanks! A bit more involved than I had hoped. I'll try the wet & dry approach first

To get the door trims off there is a screw on the inside trailing edge of each door. Remove it and slide the trim backwards.
Once of its just a case of twisting the clips on the inside with some needle nosed pliers and the trim will come away. The cost to replce all the trim on a PF is almost £800 of a FL it's £970 Audi retail.
