Default Posting Procedures from else where?

How can I copy something I posted on "other" forums? for instance Pics wont simply copy/paste as text does?

2 options.

You can simply post a link to your original post, but this is is the least favourite from our pespective as the more links we have to more websites, the more links we have to make sure aren't 'dead'

Alternitively, view the picture on the other site, right click it and 'Save Picture As' - Save it somewhere on your PC, then simply reupload it here

Found a better way Ian
All you have to do is to right click on the image in the pics in your other post (else where on the WWW), then go to "properties" highlight the adress URL and then insert Image direct into this forum sorted

Yep, that works. But you are relying on the 'owner' of that link not changing or removing it. The safest way to display pictures in a thread is o own the picture yourself. Set up a photbucket account, stick the pic there and link to that.

Or do like I have done here...


Just attach the photo to the post with the manage attachments section. Preview the post, right click on the link and save location, then past the location as a image with the picture icon in the edit section.
This way the picture stays with your post.
