TPMS problem
Recently been having problems with my tpms. Every now and then a yellow warning comes up on my dash and i then have no pressure of temperature showing on my MMI. This has not bothered me until i took my car for the MOT and it failed on three tyres. The garage then replaced my tyres, passed my MOT and gave me my car back. Then the problem started. I got in the car, started it up and instantly got a red warning on my dash saying my tyres are flat. I instantly got out and spoke to the garage owner and he went " oh yeh i got your valves for you, they are knackered" and gave me my tpms senders in bits. To be fair to him they did look very corroded and knackered.
So been looking around for new ones and came across these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4003007055...84.m1423.l2649 they do have the same part number as mine "OE Part Number: 4D0907275C " but will they be ok ?

Cant help on the part numbers personally - But they have to be the right ones, and there are different ones, on different radio frequencies etc.
Personally, I think TPM is the worst piece of tech Audi ever embarrassed themselves with fitting to producton cars, and fails with a certainty even higher than a 5 speed ZF auto box - So for me, turn the dam thing off in the MMI and enjoy the peace and quiet

The part number is correct for a UK car - If you look on your build sticker in the boot you should find the code 7K3 which means:
7K3 = Tire pressure control, frequency 433 MHzhigh level version Different markets have different frequencies and therefore different part numbered senders, but these are the same part number as we use in the UK. As for these particular ones I cant help I'm afraid, I have only used genuine ones. As far as TP monitor is concerned I think its great as long as its well maintained. The sensors have a battery life of around 7 years (Vagcom can give you an estimated time left for each sensor) hence the reason why it is starting to fail on the early D3's now.
