I'd heard it had gone to the Channel Islands and the plate had to be changed. But I'm Brian will add some detail (he has the plate now)

Hi, I bought the plate from a chap based in Guernsey late last year, I understand he had purchased the car (Dolphin Grey) if I recall? and as he was moving the car to Guernsey was having to re-register it under their system. I had only just bought the car and it was sold to me as a final edition, however since joining here I now realise it isnt, still think its a nice plate, what did you replace your car with?

cheers

Yeah, Mine was sold to me as a final edition too. Which i later found it wasn't. Then the FNL came to mean final year of production which was still relevant Still the best plate available IMO

A few pics below.

With standard wheels

With wheels powdercoated anthracite with silver spoke faces

And with the BBS LM's

After having my first child in March i bought a Discovery family wagon and now get my fast road and trackdays kicks from this

That is a lovely colour, dont see many of them at all in that. When I was looking for mine I am sure yours still came up but showing as sold. I did suggest to the chap I bought the plate from to try in here but dont think he has as yet, probably too busy enjoying driving I guess. Nice to hear from you

cheers

Love the colour of that - matches my A6 nicely

S8FNL would look lovely on my car, which is an actual FE

Milltek on yours too?

An S8 on the Channel Islands would be hard work threading down the lanes - shame it's been lost to us

Loving the Atom - crazy things! Used to make deliveries to the factory many years ago

GUD luck with that. I've just given back four plates to the DVLA and got the £80 assignment fee back, taking a loss on what i paid for them obviousley. There is no money in private plates at the moment. I couldn't even sell them at £100 so thought sod it! It was good to recieve money from the Department of Transport though instead of always giving them mine
