Default Moved home and kocation

Hi all, not been on for a while as I've been away on an extended trip to the Middle East. Back now and also just moved to Lowestoft, cracking part of the world!!
Went back to Rugby last weekend to see friends and seem to gave knackered the exhaust flexi joints going down a farm track. Sounds quite cool though but I guess I need get them sorted. The offside was the one I thought I messed up, but tomy horror I was quoted £1000 a side today but I'm sure I remember seeing on here that new ones can be either clamped or welded in. Any info gratefully received as always and I'm sure now I'm back in Blighty I'll be a regular visitor again but with more questions than answers....

Cheers Matt,

Need to get flexi joints done, wheels refurbed before new tyres and some T&C on the paint work. Any good local workshops would be music to my ears.

Chris

Had them done on my 3.7 D2.

Bell Silencers of Swindon replaced mine for £100 each.

That's quite a long shift Del. Will arrange breakfast when you're back.

Chris, wheels can be refurbed by Aerocoat in St Olaves. Del had his S8 wheels done there. Or BA Wheels in Norwich who can diamond cut them. As for the flexi joints I can't recommend anyone. For general repair jobs I have used John Utting and STR who are both in Norwich. Maybe see you at a breakfast meet in the future

Lol Del. Surely it's a temporary winter layer? Well, that's what I tell SWMBO about mine
