20" alloys with 245/35R20 tyres for sale £300

These wheel are coming off my S8 today and are offered for sale. Tyres are matching and all good, 6mm+ budget brand. Full details to follow once I take them off.

Sounds interesting and a good price - will these alloys fit over s8 Brembos? It's difficult to see whether you have these on the fronts…

They will fit fine - the 18" Avus wheels clear Brembo calipers but some 18" designs won't if they're particularly curved. 19s or 20s won't be an issue - the Brembos aren't actually that big as calipers go.

I keep looking at Phaeton V10 8 pots as an upgrade but just don't have the spare cash when sets come up

I do not have Brembos as mine is PF. 17" alloy from S4 just clear Brembos on FL S8 but wheel balance weights if you have any on inside of wheel catch on calipers. Most of 18" + wheels will clear Brembos. These being 20" will leave plenty of room to spare.

They are coming off because I have finally refurbished my old 19" wheels which are now going back on car, the ones in signature picture.

Wheels are originally from Mercedes Benz, this means 2 things if you want to use them on Audi:
1. You will need longer bolts 32-35mm instead of 27mm as merc wheels are thicker,
2. You will need spigot rings to reduce centre bore diameter from 66.1mm to 57.1mm

I am reusing bolts and spigot rings as the 19" wheels I am putting back are also from merc so I cannot offer them for sale but there are plenty available on e-bay.

Centre caps are not included either as I am reusing them as well.

Wheels are 20X9JJ ET37 , load 675kg per wheel, no make or part number but they do have JWL and VIA marks which are Japanese certification marks, not sure if they are genuine Mercedes or aftermarket wheels.

Combination of width and offset will means that inside will be pretty much the same pace as original S8 18" Avus wheels but outside will be 24mm more out, same effect like having 25mm spacers.



They have been repainted before I bought, they do have some marks and scratches on them and one has a fair bit of kerbing. Please check the pictures and judge condition yourself.

Tyres are ACHILLES ATR SPORT 245/35ZR20, 95W up to 690kg load per tyre and speed up to 168 mph. Manufactured week 09, 2010, please note that when buying new tyres they can still be sold as new up to 2 years after manufacturing. 2 of the tyres are about 7mm tread and 2 about 7.5mm measured in the 2 middle radial grooves. Comparing to previous Dunlop SP Sport they had less grip in warm and dry but more grip in cold and wet then Dunlops. I have attached another picture showing the tyre not that they are off the car.



And these are my old 19" wheels refurbished back on car with slightly bigger tyres then required 255/45R19 to give softer ride and fill wheelarches better

That's cool, I'll try and get to you earlier but if they go before I can get there no worries. I've got spigots and longer bolts already so that's not an issue either.

Not for me, I'd probably swap the tyres, and couldn't get there in the next few days anyway, but good luck with finding a buyer, it does sound like a good price.

Is anyone definitely interested and committed to take these. If nobody commits to take them tyres are coming off the wheels Saturday morning and wheels going to refurbishers. I should get around £150-160 for the tyres on e-bay, and wheels will be sold later as refurbished at around £400 mark on their own.
