Question Is it me?
See the attached photo from my new passport.

This was stuck to an internal page. There's apparently nothing underneath it, so can anyone explain why they stick a label on and ask me to remove it?

2002 Final Edition S8. Ebony black with Silver Grey leather and myrtle wood trim.
Current mods: solar sun roof, 20mm rear spacers, 15 mm on front, red brembo callipers, 6k headlights, rear view camera, engine remap, alloy dash dial rings, alloy navi rings, tt/phaeton pedal upgrade, (and custom matching foot rest) dension ipod interface & parrot hands free kit (both fully hidden), av input, tv in motion switched thro' PF switch in blanking plug right of steering column, Audi 'quattro' sill covers, repositioned centre console switches, radio clock, .
Planned mods: auto-dimming rear view mirror, dash cam (as steamship's), fit the ski hatch, refit philips drl's (or maybe not - nope, definitely not - horrible botch!).

The yellow label has an tiny RFID on the reverse. This is to electrically tag your passport through its manufacture and delivery to you.

Its all a massive conspiracy to track the passport and see if your susceptible to commands by tiny yellow stickers.

Just done some reading it is.

Mental.

I wonder why they can't use the RFID that's in the passport to track it?

Maybe that's a security risk because the passport RFID contains bio information and also a digital copy of your photo? Maybe the yellow RFID prevents the passport being scanned during transit? No idea, just guessing.
