Default flying cow pat

happily driving home from work and a tractor had left massive clumps of what i thought was mud, until a car going fast the other way splatted though it and left me with this:




looks like cow pats to me

i had to go out in the rain and wash it off

i did not, i did not look happy

countryside eh..

AAAH bless, of all of us to be anointed it had to be OCD man.

That would make me twitch so you must still be in the driveway gibbering about quantas etc.

As you have detailed your car does that mean that such deposits slide off with a hose? The reason I ask is that I'm curious if proper waxes and "stuff" mean that you really only need to polish the car every couple of months, rinsing it should it look grimy?

We live in farmer land and we get that nr every day. If not from farmers we get it from mud stones branches runing off the hills onto rd. then to top it all we live down a foresty track.
Wait till u get cow pat and what ever else farmers leave on the rd. When it gets on your exhaust. On school runs people dont havto see me pull up, they just sniff and say mmmmm A8 Owners just pulled up

1996 4.2 A8SQ - Ming Blue. 178k on a cambelt! Trader's 8. Delivered to A8Parts at Lifex.
2003 2.8 A8SQ - powder blueish. Fill in for a while. Sold on.
1998 1.8T A4 Avant FWD. Ming Blue (there's a theme here), PEX for the 97 S8.
And a list of non VAG going back 40 years before I saw the light.
