First of all I would get the council to level that path on front of the driveway, it drives me nuts already each time I look at this picture

Lol I tried blasting the bricks before but all the dirt and grit just got sprayed over the house and car, so will need one of these bad boys to do the job I think:

I fitted the spare from my new D3 onto the D2. Needs a good scrub and wash but here's what it looks like and how it sits:

Opinions?

The D2 does look ok with those wheels. Doesn't look over wheeled like I thought it may.

Having said that, they'd undoubtedly look better on (my) D3!

Those 5-spoke wheels look nice. If you get a chance please weight one, just curious how heavy it is

Will do. With or without a tyre? Bought another set of wheels for it from a local buyer which I'll be picking up tonight, so all five 20"s will be coming off to be fully refurbished in the next week or so.

I think it looks quiet nice, not too modern or too odd.
Opens up the wheel nicely and ideally you would want nice drilled Zimmermann disc behind them and refresh them callipers

Then you have the OEM guys, nothing wrong with that, which would say that only original D2 wheels will look best, but it's always down to your preference, it's you who owns the car and if you like it then keep them and sell the D2 wheels

Each wheel is pretty heavy. 28.5kg with tyre.

What's the weight when you inflate it to the correct pressure? That looks very flat.....

2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (A much rarer model than a D2 S8 by the way!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!
Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. AgateGrey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)
1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon, Auto-dim mirror, Leather, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Just as well I didn't need the spare for an emergency as it was pretty flat.

Mind you, I couldn't have got the wheel off at the side of the road anyway... there's no locking wheel nut! Had to remove the locking nuts by other means and will need another set now.
