Default Handbrake button trim

Hi all,
can you change the handbrake button trim easily?
My car's missing the silver loopy bit. I'm guessing that's part of the whole button assembly though?
cheers,
James

It's a 2005 (facelift) 3.0tdi with keyless start. Loads of other options, but none I can think of that'd relate to that part of the trim.
thanks,
James

I think a new button is about 50 quid from Audi (or see A8parts). It's not a hard job from memory, but you do need to lift the trim to get under the MMI control panel to swap it
