Your overhead mains supply has snapped?

That's a bit small for mains supply, mine is underground, and the question was a bit more 8 related.

Ours is overhead, a single cable about 18mm dia. Before the most recent upgrade it was two smaller cables, maybe 12mm each?
Difficult to tell the size or see any details in that low-res photo......

I scaled it down to 25% not to take up too much screen estate, it's 3x1mm2 cable, around 6mm outer diameter. I could have put a £1 coin next to it for scale but thought size of paving blocks should be enough.

I'm going with 'drove off with the battery charger still connected / shut in the boot'

Yep, wife with kids drove off in S8 while it was still on the charger, did not notice the cable. I was moving S4 out of the way so they could get out and did not think of it but I am sure if I was going to S8 I would have noticed cable.

Oops! Done that myself, but I have an extension on the CTek so that just popped out without doing any damage.

New Ctek on the way then!

If you get one of their 25amp kits, you get a 0.8amp maintenance charger with it...
(Or at least you used to, I've been trying to find it!)

It's just extension cable, cut off a meter or so of it in reconnected so all good. Even if it was charger wire I would just replace wires.

And I do not see any benefit of having Ctek anyway at the 4x cost of my charger.
