Default German Meet 2019 9th to 11th of August

The meet of the German A8-Freunde is taking place in Eisenach this year from 9th to 11th of August.

https://www.pentahotels.com/

Pentahotel Eisenach
Weinbergstr. 5
99187 Eisenach
Telefon: 0369181510

A single room is 66 € per night, a double 96 €. These prices include breakfast.
For an extra 15 € the room category "penta plus" is available (with a few amenities such as generous room with additional seat, view at the Wartburg Castle).

The Wartburg Castle is a historic site.

The bookings need to be made by phone Mondays to Fridays 9 am to 6 pm referring to "A8-Freunde" if you want to have those conditions. It is more expensive when you use their website.

I would assist in that. Drop me a line, preferrably via WhatsApp if possible otherwise might have a few days delay.

Because of the price the bookings are not refundable.

Details concerning the meet are not known yet.

Reservations can also be made by email to:

reservations.eisenach@pentahotels.com

Please refer to "A8-Freunde" when you get in touch with them, the conditions are slightly better than for anyone else.

Just a tiny reminder - the German meet is approaching, it is not far now until the 9th of August.

EVERY member of the forum is invited.

So fuel up your 8, take the ferry and be part of yet another beautiful car event.

Is it worth it?

After a few years of promising we'd go but never did, life getting in the way.
Then last year, LIFE? did get in the way big time with Gwen making her final journey.
So last year I went. Did it quietly, told no one, just went. Actually arrived first, even before the Germans.
Had a great time, and was made to feel like a hero for traveling a long way.
Bullsh1t really, it was just another day in the office.

Was it worth it . . . . Definetely, absolutely.

I'm going this year, ferry was booked in January.

If you are wondering, don't, just get there and enjoy.

I echo Rays comments. Why not join us in Holland Friday morning and convoy to the event? Stay Friday night and have a few beers with us?
