Also sorry about the earlier confusion with regards to the reading of the tech documents, when we saw that the Audi docs had ID'd it as a "linline" system, we thought it was going to be using data blocks to talk back and forth.

Funny thing is, none of the other documentation seems to make reference to that.

We'll know for sure when everything is hooked up!!!

When you install everything can you measure resistance between two wires that go from the boot module to the windscreen?

Interesting to know how many Ohms you will get.

As you already know, the boot module will measure resistance as well and won't switch on if it's not within the limits.

Sorry guys, I've been brutal with the updates.

Everything is installed and wired up, so we just need to get her to power up now, haven't had time to set aside for it yet.

I remember the resistance being within operation range of the box, but can't remember exactly what the value was now.

We very quickly tried sending half battery voltage down the signal wire using a desktop lab power supply, but she didn't power up with that.
We only had a few minutes at the time so didn't get further than that!
