If it is the floor heater then the fix is a new module.

That's rubbish.
The error code is short to ground.
Something in the module gone?
Repairable?

Never had the module apart to see if it's repairable, but it's essentially just a little ceramic heater element inside the vent. Both my D3s have had failures, and I've just left them TBH. It's only really used when the front is asking for cold and the rear for hot.

Confirmed, both the floor heaters in my 2004 D3 are dead.

That's poo.

I don't know if it's of any help or us but I play about with SMD repair recently, mainly LEDs, DIS screens and other SMD.

Has anyone got any details about the heaters or a spare one to send me?
I can have a look and find away to fix. Unless others has attempted it.

When I got time and my clean area is sorted out I'll take a look.
