Guys and Gals,
Just so we are clear here, we are all booking our own rooms at Edersee and the Ring. This is the state of play with hotel bookings as I see it............. EDERSEE 1 Room 2 beds - Conan and Revo_Ben - Booked 1 Room Double bed - Reffro - Booked 1 Room 2 Beds - tonupkid 1 Room - darrenjoe90 - Booked 1 Room Double bed - Architex_mA8tey - Booked 1 Room - Notorious (Edersee only) 1 Room - Daviesbike THE RING 1 Twin - Conan and Ben - Booked 1 Twin - Darranjoe90 and Mandy - Booked 1 Apartment (sleeps 2) - Architex_Ma8tey - Booked 1 Room Double bed - Reffro 1 Room 2 Beds - tonupkid 1 Room 2 Beds- Daviesbike Eddy at the hotel tells me there are no more rooms and has offered me an appartment that sleeps 3. I will give up my and Ben's room to Daviesbike (Guy) and will book a further apartment that sleeps 3. This will mean we have a total of 9 beds booked but have 10 people saying they wish to go. Both Reffro and Guy have confimed their attendance, just waiting on Nick and Tristan. I wont book any more rooms until Nick confirms, then we may need to do a bit of shuffleing!

Previously 2003 C5 A6 1.9TDI FWD - Loaner from D2 Doctor Lifex 1997 S8 - Ming Blue. Loaned out and written off. I loved that car. My first engine swap after cambelt failure. 1996 4.2 A8SQ - Ming Blue. 178k on a cambelt! Trader's 8. Delivered to A8Parts at Lifex. 2003 2.8 A8SQ - powder blueish. Fill in for a while. Sold on. 1998 1.8T A4 Avant FWD. Ming Blue (there's a theme here), PEX for the 97 S8. And a list of non VAG going back 40 years before I saw the light.

Booked at the Edersee, Terrassen Hotel.
For Tristan and Nick Had to take an apartment there. That'll teach me to not leave things to the last minute. Perhaps the sea view will make up for the wallet bashing

I've just booked my room in this hotel:
http://www.roggenland.de This hotel still have some single rooms: 78 euro per night and they speak English if you call them. Have free parking space too. The hotel is located in Waldeck village, 5.4km from Edersee dam. Their phone is: +49 5623 9988, e-mail: info@roggenland.de You can book the room via web site too. Edit 1: Just received fax confirmation from them: "This rate include overnight with full breakfast buffet, using pool, sauna and steam bath, service and tax."

A sea view room is only when you can see the sea from
your bed, if you have to go anywhere but your bed, a balcony, for example. This is a limited sea view... I thought Edersee was by a Lake, which is probably what Nick means?
