Default Annual Meet - The aftermath

WOW!!!!! That would almost be simple enough on it's own, but WOW!!!!!

I'll do a full write up tomorrow, but the meet was simply awesome.

The treasure hunt was brilliant, the hosting by Harrogate Audi was superb, the return drive to the hotel was glorious, and the drive to York Raceway was sublime.

Lots more details to follow, but that'll keep you waiting with bated breath for now 8)

MASSIVE thanks to Darren & Mike for all their help, and a HUGE thanks to everyone who turned up, you made the effort worthwhile.

And guess what?

There's an important announcement here

Been home about an hour now, what an awesome weekend. So glad I decided late on to go. The location was fantastic, the Hotel was welcoming, great brekkie and very nice to allow us to park on the lawns.

You can't beat getting out of the South East for some great driving and stunning views.

I drove back the M11/M25 with Rutgerf. Had a really easy drive down the A1. He'll be at Dover in plenty of time. Can't believe he drove from Holland. Kind of makes me think Germany isn't that far really.

Those that didn't come really missed a treat. Mike, Darren and Tony's work in organising the meet, produced an awesome weekend. Harrogate Audi were incredible, that lunch was out of this world, they went to so much trouble for us. Loved the treasure hunt and York Dragway, got a new PB. Though how in the hell is Darren's car going so fast when its a standard car? I'm going to have it scrutinised a lot more closely next time.

Roll on next year.

I forgot my camera, so look forward to seeing other people's pictures.

We had a superb weekend!!
Starting at friday evening at about 9 UK time when i picked up Eric.
We drove thought the night and arrived at about 8 saturday morning at the Hotel.
The Treasure hunt was really good and we had so much fun doing it still cant beleave the Dutchies won!!!!!!!!!! we gonne use that vagcom lead for sure so a BIG thanks!
The meal at Harrogate audi was real good and we good chat we everybody.
The drive thought the forrest was very nice so were the cars witch were coming frome the opposite site.. i know cause i saw them from really really close by. Darren next time drive a bit faster so Eric doesnt try to overtake ya hehehehe.

On sunday Tony showed us how nice the area is we even passed most things twice
The race track was wicked we dont have these sort of things in Holland.
We were the only guys who didnt race on the track ( had to drive 1000Km back home... so dint want to risk breaking something)
But we had a good look at the other who did race and took loads of pictures and recorded some movies.

On our we back Reffro drove in front of us until London witch was good and safed us loads of time. Thank so much mate!

We arrive about 2 hour to early at the ferry but could take one ferry earlier.
After i dropped Eric at his home i arrived at home at about 3 this morning UK time.

We drove 2215 KM Total this weekend and the only thing i can say it was MORE the worthwhile!

Guys thank you so much for the great weekend next year we will be there again!

Greating your friends from the Netherlands.
