Question Mini meet in Wrexham/Chester Saterday 11-2012

Well who fancies a mini meet then, this Saterday 11-2012

pub lunch and a catch up and eyeball of each others cars
Chester is quite a historic town and is quite picturesque.

Ideas ? thoughts on where and what to do ?

Ooh so tempted and FIL picks up his new (to him) 8 on Saturday morning so he could come along, if the MIL doesn't decide she wants chauffeuring around for the day !

I'm in Wrexham - here would be a great setting (Gresford, 10 mins from Chester), I'm biased as it's my local

Food & beer are great and if we get a few signing up I could try and book a table (it fills up quick)

Was going to spend the day rebuilding my front end (arms) but I could put that off a week

Stuff it I'm in

I could bring the VAGCOM if anybody needs a scan or coding

Tried to start last weekend but the pinch bolts on the top of the arms are seized solid (head came off one side so left the other - its still not moved after 300 miles !). I've got A8 parts to send me a pair of replacement hub carriers without the arms - this project is getting expensive, though with replacement arms, hub carriers & hubs & new bolts it should (fingers crossed) be a breeze.

I couldn't find a local engineering shop willing to try and get the bolts out , either press, drill or spark erosion !

I'll probably have my boys in tow (Mrs is working) and maybe the in-laws so sounds like a plan.

I hope the weather is nice, the boys have rugby at the weekend and they've missed a couple of weeks due to the weather.

I'll PM you my mobile # so we can chat

Looks like we're getting some interest so let's get some numbers sorted and if the Pant is ok with everybody I'll try and book at table, so :

1) Godders + 2 bin lids = 3
