I have now sorted out my client's expectations (its a pain when work gets in the way of pleasure) and I can now join the working party painting 47p2's house. Count me in for some of that......

Brian is going to bring along a body panel (hopefully a bonnet) so that you can all practise your detailing skills without doing any damage to your own car.
I have Vag-Com, so does Richard so if anyone wants hooked up to that it can be arranged. Painting is coming along slowly, one wall still to paint then sort out the cracked window sills, paint the rhone pipes, then burn the paint off the eaves and undercoat and repaint them....I guess it might be finished for Christmas.....2015

Great idea, the Americans have these meet at each others homes and fix cars on ones ramp meets, very envious. Wish I were closer.

Just to let you all know been out this morning and got a bonnet, well havnt actually got it as it wont fit in the car
 , but left a deposit and Jim will pick it up with his trailer on the way over next Sunday. Its a deep Purple (not as deep as Murple) with a few nice scratches so should be good to practice on

I would have if I hadn't have had Germany just recently and spent a huge sum of money on the car, also have an important presentation to complete and then possibly heading to A8 Parts open day too.
