Just wonder how much it cost if we buy the new set. any idea? and part no?

I have exactly the same on my D3. Can't the front lens be removed?
And, yes, how the hell do the marks get there

The lens is a separate part on the older type headlights for sure as I have changed one. Don’t know the part number. Just metal clips that hold it on, headlight out the car and have a look.

Don’t know how you get dirty inside there and especially in a D3, all that breaking wind with style is bound to leave it’s mark I suppose.

Yes but these don't look like scorch marks

the marks are from moisture condensation because it is not properly sealed. I have some on my D2 as well, have not got around cleaning them yet( over 2 years now) but that is on my to do list. Not sure if You can take D3 apart. If you can then just give it a try starting somewhere in the corner to test might want to use some polish to get them off. Just try in the corner to make sure You are not making it worse.

D3 headlights are sealed units as far as i can tell from the documentation in ETKA and elsawin. They look like they are stck together around the front lens. You may be able to seperate them, clean and reseal. If you do please let us know how it goes.
