Default 2009 Bi xenons

Hello lads
Out of interest
Is it possible to change the bi xenons in my 59 plate A8 sport ?
Just wanting to know if it is possible to get a whiter xenon
Do you just change the hid bulbs, or is it the ballasts that give the colour temp of the bulbs ???
Cheers Andy

Just the bulbs. I think OEM temperature is 4200k or 4300k but I put Philips 5000k in my previous A8 and it gave a much 'whiter' light that standard.

Unless you've got small hands, it's a bit of a faf!
