Default wrong discs? Or wrong calipers

Just doing pre-MoT checks and noticed that the on the front the outer edge of the pads slightly overhang the OD of the discs. Only by a mm of so and it has the happy effect of preventing the "rust-ring-of-death" creeping inwards from the edge of the disc, but I suspect it means something is not right.

Disc too small, or wrong calipers (they look pretty new)?

Brakes seem to work just fine. Hopefully even better now I've unseized the RH rear caliper!

Its a 1999 2.8 2WD non-sport btw.

Thanks
Nick

Default

Looks like you have 323mm calipers/carriers and 314mm discs.
