Default Puffs of smoke under bonnet

Oh well..... I have a suspicion the valve cover gasket has a leak on my 8, I am experiencing wisps of smoke (oily smell) from behind the back of the N/S bank, when I start it from cold. Its not intrusive into the cabin, laying any oil slicks yet, but is irking me because its not right

Are the AHC engines also prone to breather pipe issues, like the ABZ's are?

At least this is a job that's easy to DIY, when the inclination grabs me.....

Could be valve cover gasket. Breather hoses are the same for AHC and ABZ and leakingcamshaft seals are a common problem as well. Could be also leaking coolant where the pipe goes into cylinder head. Another option is oil from the gearbox final drive leaking from the output shaft seal on the catalytic converter
