OBDeleven
Has anyone tried a OBDeleven. Im sure they are no where near as good as vcds but are they good enough to reset service light. Wind back brakes etc. ?

Works great with my D2 S8 for checking/resetting fault codes, etc. No idea about winding back brakes on a D3 though.
There was a discussion about the OBDeleven here a while ago: http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/showthread.php?t=10897

Really good bit of kit, use it on D2 S8 and it works on a 2012 Q7 as well

After you've plugged it in and connected via the app, it scans for modules. You'll then get a list of all the modules it found. If you select the relevant module, then select 'info', it seems the part number is listed there. A few screenshots ...

Hi there,
Thought I'd piggy back rather than create a new thread. I've developed an intermittent cut out on my mmi (2006 A8) which from a bit of reading a gather is likely a faulty component impacting the MOST ring. Would OBDeleven read the necessary information (assuming a fault has been stored) to help pinpoint the issue? Also, the tv has obviously been coded out and I'd like to put it back on so I can use the aux inputs, again would this be possible via OBDeleven? Cheers, Chris |

Intermediate cut outs on the MMI is most likely to be a loose connection behind the glovebox somewhere on the optical loop, probably best to take out the glovebox and then check the visible connectors to see that they are all seated properly and not loose
