MOT Today
Well my 3.7 went in for it's MOT today. I've been sweating a bit because the MOT had ran out 2 weeks ago... About a month ago I was doing a pre MOT check and noticed the short brake line from the front calipers to the flexi-hose were a bit a corroded and I decided to them replaced only to discover TPS had no UK stock... The '8 was laid up while they arrived with no front calipers and a bleeder valve in the flexi-hose to stop any fluid leaks. I maybe could have bent my own with copper but the originals are steel with the PVC coating and are only £8 each. Work then got in the way and the MOT lapsed. Then when reinstalling the calipers I emptied the brake reservoir and got air in the master cylinder Bled the lines, got a test booked and now I can stop sweating as it passed with no advisory notices. Now at 91k and touch wood she's been fairly good with no serious problem or electrical gremlins except for a stuck thermostat 18 months ago.

Great stuff, especially after being laid up for a while.

Excellent Matt. Always nice to get no advisories. I’m 59k ahead of you and know my control arms are past their best (they’re next on my list of to dos), August is the old girl’s next MOT.
