Thanks for the info on this everyone
 I have had a nosey on the system before trying to upgrade anything and would appreciate advice on how I fine what version is installed The Sat Nav was easy popped the disk and its the 2007 disc part number T1000-11354 When I went into the MMI system section and pressed version. It lists a stack of numbers what am looking for please  I can list them here if its of any use? Thanks
