Tracker & Anti-hijack devices
Chaps
I've almost bought the replacement for my A8 (not an Audi, sorry) and am looking into having a tracker and/or anti-hijack system fitted, but finding it very difficult to find much info on all the different choices. So, can anyone advise on or recommend a system - I'm most interested in a tracker as it makes quite a difference to the insurance rates, but would also like to find one with a cheaper subscription cost as these are all a bit expensive. Thanks in advance.

I had a Clifford blackjax anti hi jack thing years ago, which was very good I thought. Can't speak for the competitors though, I guess they'll be quite good too.
Cant help on trackers. I guess the one thing to bear in mind is whether you get a cheap solution that gets the insurance down, or whether you go for a more pricey one thats more likely to get your car back. I've never been sure if I'd want it back after it had the guts ragged out of it by the getaway driver, but that was back in my Impreza days....

Exactly Ian, not that bothered about getting it back if stolen, just getting the insurance cost down, there is about £350 a year difference - LV are the cheapest but insist on it, otherwise not insured if stolen.

Well, in that case, maybe an anti hijack makes more sense as it has no recurring costs.. ?

dont you lock the doors when your inside?
also i have 2 trackers from tracker, good company to deal with on the whole. as an existing member i get discounted rates on install £125 for an horizon. lifetime subscription is £345. but you get an entire year to pay it.
