Default Oh Bloody hell! How much is this going to cost me?

So, wifey decided that having the spare key to my S8 on her keyring was a bit bulky.

Better to take it off, she thought.

"Where did you put it, darling?"

"Umm... ummm... well, it's almost certainly in the house somewhere. It will turn up".

I count this as lost. Views differ in my house as to the correct description, but mine's right.

So. how much to buy a new key fob (keyless entry) and have it coded to the car? I have a bad feeling it will not be cheap.

I think this was asked before and the bill came to about £250-£300.

Check your home and car insurance, some policies cover lost keys. It's rare but worth checking.
