hot day
Hi,
I was driving in central london on saturday and stuck in traffic had the A/C on and outside temp was showing as 33 degrees, i noticed that the needle was slightly above 90 about 1 mm or so but the minute traffic got moving it went down. Is this okay, i hope so and then never rose but was stuck in stop start traffic for a long time. |

That's fine... I've seen it go up beyond 100 in the past when in heavy stop-start traffic, aircon, etc. As long as it doesn't go into the red and comes back down again, then you're OK.
If it starts to get too high, open the windows and put the heater on for a bit

Thanks,
Just want to be sure it never goes over but that day no idea, went for a drive yesterday and again it was fine must have been the stop start traffic. Is it supposed to move i looked at the coolant tank level after coming home and it was in the same position as before. Must have been a one off, anyways getting a service done soon so will get everything checked out and also getting the solar panel sunroof! |
