Default Shopping list for 2001 S8 Service items please?

This is a tall order I know as I need part numbers for service items and cambelt change.

I have tried a couple of Audi dealers but they don't want to divulge part numbers. My g'f works with VAG and so might be able to get a good discount but I won't know till I've tried and she needs part numbers for that!

With the cambelt I also want to replace everything there while the front of the car is off including tensioners, pulleys, water pump, thermostat, gaskets and whatever else is lurking under there...obviously if anyone can help with ETKA/ELSAWin then please feel free to pm me as I know this is a lot to ask!

List as follows - please feel free to add any other items I may have missed that it would be prudent to change.

Spark plugs
Air filter
Oil filter
Fuel filter
Cambelt
Water pump
Thermostat
Serpentine belt
Any other tensioners/dampers/pulleys, gaskets/seals, bolts etc. etc?

There are also some other parts that don't really belong here so I will ask in the appropriate forum(s).

Thanks & kind regards,
-=Glyn=-

Glynn,

I'll post some part numbers up tonight. Can I have the Engine and gearbox codes plus your VIN for your car please? By PM if you want is fine.

Don't try holding me to account. But you should be able to price what you need from these.

Special sock?

Real men wipe it on the curtains...apparently.

Clever men check to ensure they are not venetian blinds first...

For anyone else who may come looking in this thread for part numbers there appear to be a couple of superceded part numbers and the missing pollen filter;

Cambelt = now b078109119J (not H)

Thermostat = 077121113D (not C)

Pollen Filter = 4D0898438A

Everything else looks spot-on although the water pump looks expensive

I know how Librarians like to keep their records up-to-date...

Thanks & kind regards,
