Default Headrests with LCD monitors?

I have recently acquired a pair of front seat headrests taken from a D2 A8 (not sure of year or exact model) that have a pair of Alpine monitors (or so I am told) fitted into the back of each headrest.

Along with these there was also an Alpine DHA-S680P 6-disc DVD Changer, wiring harness & Veba XAVVS22M AV switcher interface box that accepts 2 A/V inputs (composite, L/R Audio) and +/-12v and has two small 8 pin sockets that the headrest monitors directly connect to.

One slight problem...these headrests are grey leather where my interior is Soul Black!

As I see it I might be able to either;

1. Get the grey leather dyed black
or
2. Utilise my existing 2001 S8 headrest coverings and get them retrimmed?

Can anyone what might be the best option please?

Obviously the best option would be to awap them for someone who has a pair of Soul Black headrest with LCD monitors but who has a grey leather interior but that is more than a long shot!

I suppose I could sell them and buy a pair of Sould Black ones but that is also a longshot as I have never seen any for sale...any takers?

Thanks & kind regards,
-=Glyn=-

Dis-assemble the other ones, see how they do it and do it to yours I would suggest.
