Who knows, Ray. I could have remembered it wrong but she definitely said the room had a pull out sofa bed so that's all that matters to me.

Confirmation.
We have Room 38.
You have Room 6.
Both are family rooms and on the same level. Don't know how that works out, big gap between 6 and 38.

Thanks Ray. It sounds like room 6 should be quite nice.

Just learnt today that the hotel is the former home of Sir David Brown of Aston Martin!

Not really, he was a prosperous Northern industrialist and just bought AM when it was for sale having (I think) had some technical contacts from his business previously.

Just a suggestion to the mods - as this is the hotel booking and attendance thread, perhaps we could move the general chat elsewhere? It’s a tough job keeping track on who’s going to be there and when, without wading through pages of stuff that’s got nothing to do with hotel bookings and attendance. And I’d hate to miss someone and find that we’d missed them from the ‘attractions’! Or even dinner
