Transition from d3 4.2tdi to D4 4.2tdi or Q7 4.2tdi...
Has anyone made the transition from a D3 to either a D4 4.2 OR a q7 4.2tdi?
I appreciate, 2 completely different cars, but, both are on my radar for different reasons. I don't have a massive budget so it would be an 07 to 10 Q7 and it would need to have lots of extras to come close to the A8 luxury we, as A8 drivers, are used to. Re the D4 - I do particularly want to get the 4.2 and age wise it would be no newer than a '2013, realistically. Obviously, the A8 would be natural transition and offer much better value for money. I just thought I'd test the water with people's thoughts. I still love my D3 A8, with its relatively RARE spec, but, I have slightly itchy feet. The main use for my A8 is currently the Lancashire to Heathrow journey twice a month. Cheers chaps (and chapesses).
