You can see here the error I made in the custom clutch pedal design, it needs more space for the foot, Just needs to be re-shaped slightly, you can the shape needed from brake pedal next to it.

It probably also needs that dog-leg to clear the ventilation duct that goes across the pedals.

I was looking at cutting down the brake pedal too, to make more room. It can be trimmed enough to fit an A4 brake pedal rubber over to the right of where it sits now.
I don't think the original foot rest will fit with a clutch pedal in there though. at best it would have to be trimmed and re-shaped. The clutch master to slave connection could be done with stainless braided hose. I live near HEL who will make stuff to drawings. The stub is already on the fluid reservoir so that would just need some hose feeding through a grommet in the pedal box. I'll have to get measurements of Mike's gearbox mounts and make a jig to duplicate them. I have a local guy who does alloy fabrication who would make a few sets up for beer vouchers |

I think that would be normal for a manual anyway; auto brake pedals are I think usually larger to allow left-foot braking which some people prefer.
What do Audi do on a manual LHD D2?

Goran - did you make provision for the clutch pedal switch? I've just thought about that - its needed on manual models to encourage the ECU to let engine speed drop, and also to disengage the cruise control. Some wiring would be needed in a D2 to hook that up obviously.
