Possible track car purchase

My son is buying a small starter track car ( he's 18) can anybody that knows what's important please have a look at attached ,want to keep the cost down as he has no experience and if it's damaged it won't be the end of the world ,(that's an eBay post but I couldn't figure out how to copy link ) he doesn't need much speed to start with as long as it brakes well and goes round the corners and is reliable

i see quite a few minis on my track days
they are popular
its all about Tyres, definately use track tyres
good brakes too at least Ferodo discs & pads
thats it for starters

hes 18 a great age to start

i do 1 track day a month , so if i can help in any way just ask

Thanks Roberto ,we bought the mini r53 this morning and should get it home sometime next week ,i always had an interest myself but didn't have the money or time to spare when I was the right age and now that he has an interest it's great that we are going together ,we decided that it was the right starting point as there seem to be lots of them and there not expensive so if something happens it we just buy another and keep the remains of the ist one for spares
