I had the good fortune of seeing this car in the flesh, and it's absolutely fantastic - like new. The fit and finish reminded me of a Bentley Arnage, just before they went all plastiky and modern.

In fact, it was that good it has made we want to get started getting mine sorted! I had to divert hundreds of hours to my 850Tdi as it was fit for the crusher. That's now perfect, so here we go....

The S8 currently needs an MOT, new battery, tyres and a few other bits and bobs. Also needs the front bumper fixing, as it got caught on a curb. I went in a new A7, and that made me realise that this was the 'golden' era of Audi.

Yup. My S8 is the best built car I'll ever drive, regardless of make. Audi quality - build and support - has pretty much done to the dogs since then.
