Please tell me about S8 suspension
I haven't seen any comments about suspension problems with the D2 S8 suspension, so assume that it doesn't share the same problematic DRC system as the C5 RS6, although it is described as 'adaptive'.
What is the setup on the S8 please? Are there any issues with it? Is there any point in upgrading/modifying or is it perfectly adequate?

Adaptive suspension on the S8 is reffering to the D3. This is an air suspension system which can be changed by the driver or set to auto, this is diffrent to the DRC system, DRC is used in the C5 RS 6 and the B7 RS 4 and from what I have read, its a load of crap with most people upgrading to KW or Bilstens after getting fed up with numerous failures. Luckily the D2 S8 has standard suspension, the same as the A8 sport, so none of that DRC malarky, which is a good thing! James (Mkoneman) has put on KW coilovers I think, so hes the best person to ask. Did you want to do it for style or to improve the way it drives?

Glad to hear that it isn't DRC (yes, the C5 RS6 and B7 RS4 are notorious for this failing and chuck it away is the best solution!) I gather the S8 suspension is 20mm lower than the A8? If it is also uprated, then I wouldn't bother changing it. If I do change it, then it will be for both handling and stance.
