After having my new discs/pads/wheel sensor i have two small problems which i could doo with help....
My new pads seemed to squeal a week after having them fitted so i contacted the garage and they took it straight back in and ended up putting a new sett of pads in the front and even took the new ones in the rear out and checked them aswell..but when i collected it they couldnt get the brake disc/pad warning light off even after resetting it with the computer thingy........any ideas..??? as i got out of my car tonight i found two black springy wires thet i gather are the pad vibration clips lying next to my front wheels (one either side)............should i be worried......????? |

The springs are designed to keep pad movement to a minimum. If these are loose or missing the pads can move about, causing the squeling. This could also cause rapid wear of the mounting surfaces and pad faces - you don't want the pads breaking up!!!! Whre are you based??
