quick poll to check how often you pop on here....

I being online all day tend to be on numerous times a day on work days and in teh evening at weekends.

1997 4.2 A8SQ - Ming Blue. Restoration sat waiting; saved from the Scrapyard
2003 C5 Allroad 4.2Q - Cobolt Blue. Towing car. Laid up awaiting manual conversion.
2005 C5 Allroad 2.5TDi FE - Grey - Workhorse.
2015 Q3QS SLine - Daytona Grey. Lots of extras! Long Haired Admirals cutter.

1997 S8 - Ming Blue. Loaned out and written off. I loved that car. My first engine swap after cambelt failure.

Hi there,

Check more during the week than weekends as i tend to be away and lacking decent net access then.

I check back quite regularly, particularly when hunting information or there is an interesting topic. Then again my D2 S8 is fairly new to me and it needs some work to improve and put right the odd thing.

I also like ways to improve or interesting settings etc.

Cool Shall I be contentious...?

...sod it.

I think there are just too many strong forums where an active A8 community reside. I spend (waste?) a huge amount of time checking lots of forums because you can always find a valuable tit-bit somewhere, and there is just enough activity on all these forums to make checking them everyday worthwhile. Oh, and I suppose I am slightly addicted as well...

When I was a Saab driver, there were only 2 places worth visiting. And Scooby - well, only one really (all be it quite a few years ago).

With respect, we could do with trying to get this forum back to being the place where all the maintenance advice and procedures are catalogued, as I believe it was its original primary purpose.

Happy to discuss...

Your quite right Zip and whenever I find something I add it but I am but one librarian (even though it is the ultimate combat librarian!) .

If anyone out there cruising other forums finds some thing useful just PM me with a link and a short description and I'll add it to the appropriate Sticky.
