Home Renovation - On a more modest scale

The garage outfitting has gone on hold while I get the house updated. While in lodgings I enjoyed the versatility of the kitchen / living area and so have decided to take the kitchen / diner and turn it into a living / entertaining area. As someone mention holding the South West local meet on the drive I need somewhere to entertain.


Here's the back of the house and patio:


The pile of rubbish is what has come out of the kitchen so far!!
Two days with a bully stick lifting vinyl flooring stuck down with god strength glue and thermoplastic tiles stuck down with god's dads' strength glue has given me one of these in each palm:


But the floor, which did look like this is clear (ish)!


So, after a couple of days with a lump hammer we have this:

Skip arrives this morning. All rubbish gone and onto the floor laying, tiling, cabinet fitting, plumbing, electrics, painting and decorating, furniture and so on. Tomorrow I will rebuild the great wall of China!
