Love them, but from a total production of around 300-350 I can't imagine there's many left. For proper rarity would have to be the soft top version lol think they only made a handful.

There was one at the Goodwood breakfast club the other week, plus I know there's one in the Brooklands Museum that used to belong to Ricardo and was used for testing - aside from the revolting mustard coloured paint it's probably one of the best non-restored Interceptors around

Wonderful vehicles
Had one, just the Boggo one (if you could ever describe one as that), not the FF, the SP, or the drop top....

It may have been a ropey old shed, but I loved it, while it lasted

I found them average-looking, not quite ugly, but not far off. The nose looked pretty similar to the NSU Ro80, but I found the NSU a prettier car.

Nice beefy V8 motor though.

Loved them ever since I can remember. The FF being the first 4 wheel drive production sports car.

Nearly bought a very early Vignale built MK1 2WD a couple of years ago in the pale blue of the original Earls Court show vehicle.

Wish I had gone through with it

The Daily Town Car - 2023 Tesla Model Y Performance. Black with Black. Giant ipad screen, huge sunroof, 4 wheel drive, Tow bar, lots of ooomph and made in China, so actually built properly unlike the Californian ones.

Black, 7 Seats, Towbar, Homelink, Enhanced Auto pilot with Summon and self park, Heated front seats, CCS Charger upgrade, MCU2 Upgrade, Falconwing Doors, Self opening / closing doors, Netflix, Spotify, toys, Air suspension, alcantara roof + lots of other stuff......

The 17 year old Driver Wagon 2015 Skoda Citigo Monte Carlo. Alloys, Power steering, Aircon, Leccy windows, Sat Nav, bluetooth, central locking, cup holders, 59 whole bhp. Million times better than my first car. Well jealous.....

Just to join, I too have always, and still do regard the Interceptor as a true classic, not sure how anyone could ever describe them as approaching ugly, that mad piece of glass in the rear never stops moving, there isn't a flat on it anywhere!!
Incidentally, another first for the FF model was Dunlop Maxaret brakes, first production car to ever have ABS, that EVERYONE takes for granted now!!
I have promised myself one before I die.
Picking up on Nollywoods mention of the Ro80, I believe I may be involved in a photo shoot later on having my 3.7 A8 parked next to an Ro80, if this ever occurs, I'll be sure to upload piccys!!

Best Regards to all,
Steve

Good ones are really appreciating in value, despite the 'economic situation' out there

Has anyone seen this? http://www.autoblog.com/2011/06/04/v...r-to-completi/
