Default Sold: Audi A8 4.2 TDi V8 Quattro Executive SE – Fully loaded 93k new!

Hi folks,

Thought I would post up our A8 with the phenomenal 4.2 TDi V8 before I advertise it more widely. We searched high and low across the UK until we found this mega-optioned SE Executive which has £25k of options including the rare and highly desired B&O Audio system (£6,700) and was £93k OTR in 2011. We are the fourth owners and purchased it in 2015 and have enjoyed 25,000 miles over 2-1/2 years of ownership.

The 4.2 TDI engine is rated at 350ps & 800Nm, it really is the heart of the car and sounds great doing it too. It effortlessly wafts around on a tidal wave of torque. The paint is Havana black metallic which in some lighting appears to be a very striking dark metallic brown. The interior is finished in gorgeous valcona silk beige leather with optional comfort seats, vavona wood inlays, extended leather package, rear seat heating and comfort rear headrests. I have never seen another with this combination of class and luxury.

A full run through of the spec includes:

• Comfort heated/memory 22-way front seats with pneumatic side bolsters/lumber adjustment (£1,150)
• Valcona silk beige leather interior (£1,175)
• Extended leather package to centre console, armrests etc (£1,020)
• Heated rear outer seats with comfort headrests (£705)
• Vavona wood inlays (£435)
• 4-zone climate control with rear seat climate function control (£1,225)
• Electric rear & side window blinds (£1,020)
• Band & Olufsen advanced sound system, 1400w 19 channel DSP, 18 speakers + subwoofer (£6,740)
• TV reception (£1,330)
• Mobile phone preparation (high) Bluetooth & online services etc (£765)
• Double pane UV heat insulating glass £620)
• Heated windscreen (£220)
• Electric tilt/slide Glass Sunroof (£1,450)
• Adaptive Cruise Control with stop/go (£2,045)
• Electric soft close power doors (£655)
• 20x9 inch 10 spoke alloy wheels (£1,120)
• LED headlights with auto high beam assist (£1,840)
• Garage door opener with home link (£250)
• Rear through load facility (£345)
• Audi lane assist (£510)
• Power operated boot lid
• Quattro sports diff
• LED interior light package
• Audi front & rear floor mats
• Audi MMI System incorporating Colour Sat Nav and TV
• Front and Rear Parking Sensors
• Bluetooth Telephone Connection
• ZF 8 speed auto with steering wheel paddles
• DAB radio

The car was first registered in February 2011 by Audi Peterborough and was a Dealer Principles car hence the amazing specification. I have never seen another A8 with a specification as desirable as ours, the B&O alone is very rare in the D4 A8 no doubt because of the cost. It does sound superb for a factory system and was specially designed by B&O for the A8’s interior acoustics.

It has a full-service history, a mix of Audi and reputable Indie dealers and has just this week been serviced and comes with a 12-month MOT (expires 25/4/19). The car has full service books and all receipts for work over its life including the owners portfolio. It is completely standard and has never been modified in any way and is HPI clear. We had all four discs and pads replaced at 54k miles. The summer tyres are at about 50% and included in the sale if at my asking price, is also a set of winter tyres which when fitted make the car phenomenal in the snow! Current mileage is 60,700.

The car is cosmetically excellent, there are a few paint blemishes and the alloys are probably due a refresh soon, but importantly it has never had an accident nor had any paint touch-ups or repairs of any kind. The interior is also in excellent condition and is not as hard to keep looking good as the colour would suggest. It contrasts beautifully with the Havana black paintwork and really makes it a classy looking car. When looking we specifically didn’t want a black interior so were thrilled when we found this mega spec car amongst a sea of boring black!

The car is priced to sell to a forum member at £17,900 and is not currently for sale elsewhere.
Any inspection/test drive is welcome, the car is located in Llandudno.
Pics to follow this weekend.
Simon.

Hi Simon,

Its a rare, and decent spec D4 with the correct engine in a lovely colour.

The current mileage of only 60K is a selling feature for sure, but I found quite hard to locate amongst the other info, so I've repeated here for clarity

glws.

Thanks for the comments fella's. You are correct, I had the mileage buried in amongst my waffle. 60k on the 4.2 is nothing, it's barely run in

I struggled to price the car because of the options, I have it up on eBay now so will let the market decide where the car's value sits over the coming weeks. If a forum member has some interest I am open to some negotiation.
