Default Ooops

So..... I took the air boxes out to clean the MAF sensors and whilst there remove the lower section to check the power steering fluid level. Lucky I did as it was below min level.

Anyway, mid way through the task, pulled too hard on the air box and snapped the sound valve thingy off!!!! Anyway, it came off so cleanly I managed to bond it back on with no issues.

Be careful!

'09 D3 S8 - Most of the bells and whistles (B&O, Audi Exclusive brown interior and exterior paint, soft close, ACC etc) de-flapped manifold!

You're not alone there, buddy. Add a little contact adhesive and it sticks right back on.

Or leave it all off, cut off the boss and use a big black heat shrink tube with adhesive inner coating.
