So just change coding and you will see if it is because of coding or something else. It's less then 5min job that can be done with the £8 e-bay cable.
Codings are automatic: with ESP 03373 without ESP 03273 and manual: with ESP 03313 without ESP 03213 First digits may be 04 on later cars for MVEG II emissions standard
