Thanks for that After parting with a fair few quid for this 6s I will have to suffer it. Why do Apple do this, I find their gear ok otherwise ?
To be honest it's not the fiver a month that bothers me its the loss of the bloody signal with this glass, I miss my speed camera warnings too, that thing has saved me a few points and fines over the years and now nothing

Yes. I concur with Ian. I use rSAP in my car with my Android, with Tasker and CamerAlert. All in one solution to comms and detection in one go and it never even comes out of my pocket. All done via Bluetooth and rSAP.

Because they want to control everything, and when you hand off the Sim to another device you cut them, and their apple store out of the loop....

There used to be some hacks to get rSap working on the iPhone but I think they've effectively closed those loops now.

I still use my iPad. Best tablet out there. But for a fully functioning, not locked down, phone, I wouldn't touch Apple with a barge pole. Its not like they're the only cool kid on the block anymore either.

Sell the 6S. Get an android. If you're experience is of a flaky O/S from a few years back, those days are long gone.

I found the lane assist hateful and switched it off, and that was the newer system with a 3 spoke wheel and corrective steering - so I'm out

Actually looking again the switch to turn lane assist off seems to be missing from the indicator stalk, perhaps it only has side assist!?

Still out though

I can see what your saying, but lane assist is clearly listed on its build spec.... The photos are very poor.

My car is not fitted with the cradle in the armrest for the phone to plug in so I can't tap into the built in gear.

Something I wouldn't look to have again frankly, but when buying second hand you don't have too many choices and frankly I wasn't aware of the effects of this. do get to listen to my music more though so there is an upside

1) is there a coloured strip near the mirror which is used to allow motorway tags to be used

2) How many phones can connect at the same time

3) what is meant by privacy handset, im presuming a small handset under the armrest, is this corded or handsfree
