Hello Johnmed, beware with the battery fully charged thing .....The screen capture ......is that ignition on ? i would say it is because i can see that there is a draw of 15.1 amps , so the systems that are powered will drag the volts down somewhat , the battery is not at rest in ignition on senario .

Done a bit of testing with batterys and were its said that a fully charged battery is 12.8v or so after a charge , but leave that battery overnight and in near minus temps it wont be that after 12 hours or so .

I put my volt meter wires through the ski hatch and hooked up to battery put it on rear seat so i could watch it through the window and lock the car up over night , in the morning it was at 12.2 volts when auxillary heater starts up it took it down to 11.7 then it sort of recovers back up to 12volts as the burner is running .

My car has a new bosch s5 110 amp battery aswell , but as i have said in the aux heater posts i still get the battery intervention codes for low batt sometimes .

i suppose aswell you need to rule out that there is not a parasitic draw on the batt that could drag it down somewhat

Also do owners hold the stop button till the steering lock is latched over ....i dont always do this ....just wonder if it doesnt always go to sleep properly if you dont do this .

Hi Lee. Thanks for that.

I think everything is ok. In my mind the 8s are meant for the autobahn. The suspension, choppy at low speeds, is great at higher speeds and short journeys don't do the 8 much good. I've never really had any issues with the battery, I only replaced it on advice of others as a preventative measure.

As things stand in happy with the car, there could be a parasitic drain, but I've left the car for long enough periods without use and not had issue. I have only added a dashcam and that is only live with ignition. The trailer module I added after the battery was showing low power and I may even wire in a switch to isolate that, cos I'm not a regular tower of things.

I coded it in earlier too. So, so far so good.
