Default Nav Update

Ok, spent a good part of last night avoiding the accident in Cambridge, but had an overly long trip round the back roads of Cambridge and Lincolnshire. Four and a half hours vs. the normal three hours.

Can you guys recommend a good supplier for Satelite updates?

In a D4, pretty sure they're dealer only at the minute.

Only some of the very early hdd based navs can be updated without going through the dealer route. Even then it's not straightforward/risk free

If I was buying a new car with hdd I'd want it in writing from the dealer that they would include the nav update as part of an annual service foc. After all tomtom manage to provide free quarterly updates for their cheap as chips nav units and the old argument of creating and storing media doesn't apply when it's a download from a server in Germany!

Hi, I'd say as a first reaction that the aerial may be faulty, as well as the display issue.
How long have you had it and is there any warranty left?

And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!
