Yup.. its ok to do that. Doing anything to remove the caliper needs you to let it know in vcds.

So I got as far as taking the wheel off today and poking around.



Could not work out which cable is the electronic parking brake and where the cable is which connects to the calliper. Or is there only 1 connection? The connection that snapdragon took apart shown in his photo, where is that?.

The only obvious cable which felt like it could be pulled apart was behind the rotors (metal guard) at the top.

I took a picture with my phone. I could not see it but only feel it. It did not pull apart.

From memory, you have to poke a screwdriver into the hole in the top and wiggle it to get them to seperate.
